Miniature Connectors

Connomac Corp. offers a variety of miniature connectors, including: Minni-Mac II 3 & 4 Pole, Minni-Mac 9, 10 & 12 Pole, and Minni-Mac 2-8 Pole. Minni-Mac II connectors have a one-piece construction, they have couplers/shells constructed from dark anodized aluminum, and they have electrically safe connections. Minni-Mac 9, 10, & 12 Pole connectors are water/dust tight, and are resistant to chemicals, acids, oils, and other harsh environmental contaminants. Minni-Mac 2-8 Pole connectors have plugs and cables that are resistant to the following fluids: cutting oil, lubricating oil, and other petroleum/hydraulic based fluids. They have applications for conveyor systems, electrically operated valves, electrical read-out devices, foot switches, proximity switches, etc.

Grainger Industrial Supply offers miniature connectors in liquidtight, thermocouple, snap-in, and non-liquid configurations. These connectors have cord diameters ranging from 0.22" to 0.375", lengths ranging from 1.44" to 2.55", and widths ranging from 0.54" to 1". These connectors are constructed from gray nylon materials, and they have standard CSA certification.

Remke Industries, Inc. offers Pico-Link (M8), Mini-Link, and Micro-Link (M12) connectors. Pico-Link female plugs come in male/female 3-4 pole configurations, straignt or 90° designs, and have cables made of PVC/PUR for durability, oil resistance, and continuous flexing. TPE Mini-Link male plug assemblies have NEMA 6P and IP 68 protection, heavy duty SOOW/SJOOW/STOW cables, and Parall-Arc nickel coated/gold plated contacts. Dual Key SJOOW Micro-Link male plug assemblies feature a 360° aluminum mylar foil shield, 2-6 pole male/female plugs, and a single or dual keyway design with optional LEDs. Connectors are UL recognized and ROHS compliant.

Hypertronics Corporation offers Mini-HyperGrip (small) and D00 Mini-Series (mini-circular) connectors for test equipment, data transfer, medical, and mass transit applications. Mini-HyperGrip connectors have the following features: 0.30mm Hypertac high reliability contacts, color coding (with a choice of five colors), five contacts, custom overmolding, IP67 sealing, push/pull latching, custom keyable, etc. D00 Mini-Series connectors have the following features: 1 amp rating per contact, crimp/solder contact terminations, a high cycle life, a 6.7 milliohms contact resistance, and temperature ratings ranging from -40 to 125°C.

Waltow offers miniature thermocouple connector systems. Connectors are constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic, they can withstand temperatures up to 400°F, and they can accommodate wire sizes up to 20 AWG (stranded). Additional features include: an exclusive channel design, compatible with matching thermocouple alloy materials, rugged/high performance, molded-in pin contacts, multiple calibrations, and male/female plug/jack styles.

Connectronics offers Hy-Kon Series high voltage miniature connectors. These connectors have temperatures ranging from -55 to +125°C, seal level operations to 70000 ft, a 13.5 KVDC operating voltage, and max currents rated at 4.5 Amps. Additional features include: field/factory assembly into No. 12 gauge contacts, a shock/vibration-proof operation, a corona-free interface, etc. They are constructed from gold and beryllium copper materials.

Mouser Electronics offers JAE circular miniature connectors in a variety of configurations, including: 13-3 pin shell size, 24P plug w/sockets, 37P plug size 24, RECEIPT I/O 8P, etc.

Omnetics Connector Corp. offers micro and nano miniature interconnect products. Micro SSB Series (Type AA) horizontal SMT connectors are durable up to 500 cycles, they have temperatures ranging from -55 to 125°C, 3 amp per contact current ratings, voltage ratings up to 600 VAC RMS sea level, and an insulin resistance of 5000 Megohms/min. Connectors are constructed from gard gold plating, epoxy, gold plated copper alloy, and polyphenylene sulfide.

Amphenol NEXUS Technologies offers miniature connectors. Miniature M55116-Type connectors come in the following styles: 6 & 7 conductor plug, 6 & 7 conductor panel mount receptacle, and 6 & 7 conductor in-line receptacle. They have temperature ranges from -55 to +85°C, voltages up to 60V, an insulation resistance of 1000 megaohms min, a 0.5 amperes current rating, and a 0.50 Ω maximum contact resistance. These connectors are constructed from gold-plated brass, sliver-plated BeCu, thermoset plastic, and passivated stainless steel materials.

Miniatronics offers micro mini-connectors. These connectors have the following features: pins ranging from 2 to 4, flexible leads ranging from 8" to 12", a mated interlock assembly, and they have units rated @ 1 amp. They have applications for accessory hookups, sound, command control, and lighting.

Data Electronics Manufacturing Corp. offers Delta MQD (Miniature QDS) connector. These connectors have positive-locking/push-on mating, and they come in miniature sizes equivalent to BNC and TNC.

Fischer Connectors high density miniature ultralight circular connectors. These connectors have the following features: an unmatched pin density, a space-saving receptacle, a 41% shorter mated connector pair, IP68 sealing, straight/right-angle ergonomic over-molding, pre-cabled/wired receptacles, rugged mechanical keying, visual coding, push-pull locking, etc. Connectors have applications for test equipment, instrumentation, patients, and soldiers.

Positronic Industries, Inc. offers Dragonfly connectors in size 16, 20 and 22 contacts. These connectors have working temperatures ranging from -55 to +105°C, a wide variety of accessories, 6 contact variants, contact current ratings to 20 amps per contact, and a LSA contact system. Additional features include: blind mating, panel mount, float mount, solder PCB mount terminations, coplanar mount, etc. They are ideal for applications requiring high power density.

Molex offers Brad mini-change connectors in a variety of configurations. These connectors have the following features: 2-19 pole connections, straight or 90° angles, IP67 sealed, NEMA 6P rated, 100 lbs minimum cable strain relief, a molded key indicator, high performance gold over nickel plated contacts, and (patented) Quad Beam socket contacts with stainless steel sleeves. Molex connectors have a variety of industrial applications, including: solenoid operated valves, solar panels, rectangular proximity/photoelectric sensors, pumps, load cells, limit switches, lighting, linear position transducers, industrial refrigeration systems, industrial heaters, etc.

TE Connectivity offers microminiature D connectors. These connectors are designed to meet the requirements of MIL-C-83513, they have a 6-8 oz maximum twist pin engagement force, and can be customized with plastic or metal shells. The microminiature D connectors have both commercial and military applications.
